A view of the Point Arena lighthouse awaits you on this unique, quiet country property in Manchester, 3 hours north of the Bay Area. Built in 1936, the 2 bedroom, 1 bath home was extensively remodeled in 1992. Improvements included a new foundation & expanded kitchen with vaulted ceilings, skylights, & a Wolf Stove. The standing room basement contains wine racks, hookups for washer/dryer & storage space. Just outside the house, a concrete pad is wired with 220V for whatever size hot tub you desire. Despite the good bones, there is sweat equity to be had here. Once restored, the wraparound deck off the kitchen will again offer expansive views that include the lighthouse. The land tells a story. Once home to garden beds, fruit trees, & even geese, the grounds are now naturally reclaiming their space with sweet peas & trumpet flowers. There is plenty of opportunity for gardening, outdoor living, & reconnecting with the land.Located within the Coastal Zone, the property may also offer intriguing possibilities for future improvements. The footprint of the former barn adjacent to the home could potentially provide inspiration for an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) or other permitted use. Buyers should verify all zoning, Coastal Zone regulations, building requirements, and development potential with the appropriate agencies.Half a mile away, Manchester has S&B Market, which is one of the best hardware stores on the coast as well as being chock full of organic groceries & sundries. Ten minutes to the south, Point Arena provides quality entertainment & multiple dining options along wit
